Y’all, I’ve officially decided this year is just crazy. Yep. Normally, the year doesn’t pick up until September. However, this year has started off CRAZY. This month was a mix of out-of-state trips, a wedding, senior pictures, and freezing temperatures. Now that it is the end of April, it seems like Southern IL/St. Louis finally got the memo that it is spring! Majority of the month was freezing {we even saw snow}, but the past week has been incredible! I am so excited for the warmth and sunshine that May will bring!

April was FULL of travel. I went on business trips to Cincinnati, Chicago, and Washington DC. I was blessed to have my sweet sister, Hannah Beth, join me on my Chicago trip. It made everything that much more fun! Plus – I was able to take a mini senior session of her while in Chicago! I drove my first rental car {not quite as fun as I thought it would be!}, and I was reminded once again that traveling alone isn’t as glamorous as social media makes it. It’s great to see new places, but y’all, it’s great to be at home.

Hayden has been busy with finishing up his 5th year of Physical Therapy school. Next month, he heads on to his first round of clinicals, and we are both so excited that he is so close to earning his DPT! Hayden often works behind the scenes with all of the business stuff, but this month Hayd has assisted with a wedding, sessions, and a prom photo event.
