A Christmas wedding is literally a match made in Heaven in my book. Add in the most sweetest and in-love couple ever, and you have an amazing day. I was so honored to get to captured Marissa and Charles wedding day. These two are so giddy in love. When I first met with them almost a year ago, I could immediately tell they were SO excited to get married. They couldn’t wait for their wedding day, but they were SO pumped for all of the days after.

These two are so SILLY and HILARIOUS. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed at a wedding as much as I did at theirs. Both Marissa and Charles had me laughing the entire time. Charles is absolutely hilarious and such the jokester, and I love Marissa loves that about him. It was so fun to watch the two of them be head-over-heels in love and so eager to walk down the aisle.

The hours leading up to their wedding were a bit crazy. Not long after 7 a.m. Marissa texted me that several of the roads to the venue were flooded or they were covered with water. Luckily she stayed the night at the venue and was already there getting ready, but she wanted to ensure I was able to make it on time. Thanks to my lovely in-laws {and their incredible 4-wheel drive vehicle}, I made it there early to take a look around. Everything was pretty waterlogged, and the rain kept coming down. We had back-up plans in place, but of course, we were praying for no rain!! Praise the Lord, as soon as we set out to take their first look photos the rain stopped. We were able to take ALL of their outdoor photos before it started raining again. It was SUCH a blessing!!

The wedding was so sweet, and I was bawling my eyes out a good 85% of it. Everyone lost it in the middle of Charles’s vows, and then continued to cry throughout. The best part was of course seeing how overjoyed they were walking down the aisle as Mr. + Mrs!
