Woohoo!!! This is an exciting blog post, because it’s the FIRST senior session of 2019! I’ve love taking some time off over the past few months, but I can’t lie, I’ve been ITCHING to get back and photograph my seniors. So we’re kicking off the year with a great session – snow, sunshine, and a gorgeous girl!

Julia is a senior from Teutopolis, IL {right next to my home town of Effingham}, and she came to St. Louis for her senior session. I saw it all of the time, but I love it when my seniors travel for their sessions. It’s just makes it that much more fun – they’re excited about the new location, it’s different from what their classmates have, and selfishly, I love it too! In addition to school, Julia keeps very busy playing softball, and she actually just signed to play ball at Frontier Community College next year! How awesome is that?!

Julia and I {+ her lovely mama} headed out to one of my favorite places in St. Louis for a gorgeous sunset session, and y’all, it was perfect! I’m always a little nervous about winter sessions. You never know if we’ll have snow or if everything will just be dead and cold. Well, it was still cold, but we had SNOW!! St. Louis received a few inches the night before, and it was absolutely perfect for Julia’s session. Also, let me just say this girl was BRAVE. I was bundled in 4 layers of shirts, sweaters, coats, and gloves, but this girl rocked her session in a mini skirt! I don’t know how she did it! Julia was absolutely amazing. Not only was she super brave, but she was so much fun! She has such an easy, go-with-the-flow attitude, and it meant that we tried some different poses and locations than normal.

I hope you enjoy these photos below and just remind yourself throughout that she looked that amazing ALL while it was 24*. Yep, she’s amazing.
