Well y’all, I can’t quite believe it is time for me to write this blog post! I’ve known Hayden for almost six years, and through it all – he/we’ve talked about this week SO many times. When I first met Hayden, I quickly learned that towards the end of his schooling he would have to travel to different locations for his clinical rotations. To earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Maryville University, they require all students to participate in 30 weeks of clinical rotations at the end of their six year of classes. In all, the program (starting as a freshman) last six and a half years! You can imagine that it sounded like these clinicals would be “forever” away when we met at ages 17 and 19. Well, it’s crazy to say that forever wasn’t that far away, and we’re MOVING!

We are so excited and nervous for these next 30 weeks on the road. We packed up 98% of our apartment this weekend with our family, and the only furniture that remains is one half inflated air mattress and a lamp. As my mom says, “it’s adventure living!” We’re only living like this for a few days {praise the Lord for coffee shops to work in!}, while Hayden’s finishes up the semester, and then, we’re headed to Bloomington, IL this coming weekend! We’ll be living with some family in the area, and then, we’re headed to Columbia, MO and back to STL to finish out his remaining clinical rotations.

No worries about things changing around here though – Haley Nicole, LLC is still in full swing, and we’re opening up summer dates soon!!

I’m hoping to share some photos of our travels along the way, here on the blog – shocker I know! If I can give you ANY heads up on the blog posts to come it’s this – when Hayden and Haley travel, things seldom go as planned! I’m sure we’ll have many comical stories to share!

Anyways, we’ll miss ya STL, and we can’t wait to be back in the fall!

xoxo,
