How to Create Prom Photo Events :: 2021 Edition

Hey fam! It’s been awhile since I’ve been blogging, and while I’m no longer offering Prom Photo Events, I figured some of you are still interested. Guess what, you should be – Prom Photo Events are one of the many unique ways I grew my business. While there is a specific tactic to properly organizing these so you see a return in your time, today I’m sharing how to run these in 2021 (like if I didn’t have a baby & was still offering them — enjoy!!).

Option 1:

Standard Photo Event – students arrive and are seen on a first come, first served basis! This is the best way to make sure you aren’t getting stood up. It is important to have your location outdoors, and you will want to pre-place 6ft social distancing markers for your line. You don’t want to plan for an event, and then be shut down just moments before because you aren’t following distancing protocol!

Option 2:

Set time blocks for students and groups to reserve ahead of time. This way, parents will feel more comfortable with their students being close to others – since they’ll reserve time with friends/those in their “bubble.” Obviously, follow distancing protocol/advised mask wearing in your photo location.

Option 3:

Okay, so your school doesn’t have prom this year – man, that stink. However, you can STILL throw an event – trust me there is always a reason to celebrate! Choose to one of the options above on a specific Saturday night – encourage area juniors and seniors to get dressed up just for the fun of it!

Excited to see what you all decided to do! Here are a few images from past photo events!

xoxo,
Haley Nicole
