Oh my goodness! This past weekend was full of so much joy, and I was so honored to be a part of Matthew and Emma’s wedding day.  Matt and Emma are dear friends of the Hayden and mine. Matt and Hayden have been friends for the longest time, and share some of the most hilarious stories I’ve ever heard. Emma’s story is pretty unique as she grew up in Southern Illinois, but then moved to China for several years {pretty impressive, right?}. Matt and Emma started dating not too long after Hayden and I did, and it has been amazing to see them grow together as a couple.

I was so excited when Matthew gave me a clue that he would be proposing to Emma last fall. These two are pretty special so I was soo happy that they would be getting married. I was even more excited when they asked me to photograph their big day. I knew the day would be filled with so much joy and love. From day one of their relationship, they have put Christ at the center. I knew that their big day would be emotional, but full of so much hope and happiness.

It was absolutely incredible to witness Matthew and Emma becoming husband and wife. Their handwritten vows were so precious, but also extremely powerful. I have no doubt that God will use Matt and Emma in big ways. I am so blessed to have been a part of their big day, and I am so happy for the new Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Renaud, Jr.!
