Hey y’all, I’ve just returned home from an incredible family vacation. One thing that I don’t take for granted from working remotely is the ability to travel often with family. Hayden and I are so blessed to each have such an amazing family. Hayden’s extended family typically spends one week a summer down in Branson, MO. We spend lots of unplugged time on the lake. Let me just tell you, it was so great to get out of the house and spend some time in nature and laughing with family.

I was soo bummed when I realized I had left my CF card at home for my real camera. My forgetfulness, however, allowed me to take the whole week off from photography, and I didn’t feel obligated to take an pictures at all! While I absolutely love my business, I know that it is important to get time away to refresh and refocus. This week did just that for me. So, there are no “real” camera pictures to share, but there are lots of iPhone photos for you to take a look at!

First stop, Silver Dollar City – Hayden’s family loves amusement parks!

Yes, we went hiking! I was given the map, and I got our entire group lost! In my defense, the trails were not well labeled! However, we did get to see an unexpectedly beautiful view.

Wakeboarding is something I love to do while on vacation. So so much fun! {AND… it’s a killer workout. I was sore for the next 3 days. #reallife}
