2022 in Review : Goals, Memories, + More!

Wow!!! Y’all, I can’t believe this year is finally over (well, almost!!). It has been a YEAR! I decided it would be good to go back through my goals from the beginning of the year, review what I did and didn’t do, and I could link back through some posts from this year!
Goals for 2022:
Workout regularly through pregnancy (I’m going to try really hard to stay active – even if it’s just a daily walk and a few weights!) Definitely changed a few days into the new year with our miscarriage, but I’m proud that I worked to have a healthy body and to workout regularly. I’m not doing that so much anymore (whoops).
Read more books (My goal is 6 books.) I did this!! I technically finished 6 books, but that doesn’t include all of the books of the Bible I’ve finished. I’d love to do more in 2023. I started strong, but I really fell off the reading train in about August.
Improve my daily quiet time with God It’s improved, but needs more!
Travel to a new state YES!! We did 2: North Carolina + Louisiana
More social media free days I’m shocked – we actually took a full month off!
Take more photos of our daily life with my “real” camera Yes, but I only was better at this once I took off for a month of social media. I wasn’t great about this in the first half of the year.
PRINT MY PHOTOS…Can’t check this off. I haven’t done this yet.
Get to know our neighbors better We have a lot to still do, but yes, I do know our neighbors better.
Visit little coffee shops throughout Southern Illinois, Indiana, and Missouri (this is one of my favorite things to do!) This was big the first half of the year, but we haven’t done much the second half of 2022. It was SO much fun though when we did this during the early part of the year.
Overnight trip for just mom + dad We have spent a night or two away. We have plans to do this again – but definitely need to make this a priority.

My word of 2022 was BREATHE!
I was challenged like never before, and was forced to take many breaths and to “just breathe” to get through so many moments. I had no clue what that word would mean at the beginning of 2022.
Stay tuned for my 2023 goals!!
